I love owls! I think this helped me get it out of my system somewhat.  I do intend spray painting the frame black in due course though. This frame was recycled from a car boot sale find. I soon grew tired of the original picture, of a man and a woman and a dog walking along a beach. It’s still in the frame though, behind the collage.
I made the owls first and then glued them to the background. The paper is from old catalogues and magazines.
Click on the pic to see the owls in greater detail , and please ignore my reflection snapping away. Some of them have fairly dubious expressions and some of them look just plain gobsmacked.
Now after the owls and the hedgehogs I'm thinking dinosaurs. My dino collage should be done sometime in Jan.
